On March 15, 2026, Consul-General Bacharee Puengpak, together with officials from the Consulate-General and members of the Thai community in Chicago and surrounding areas, participated in almsgiving and merit-making activities, as well as the Thet Mahachat (Vessantara Jataka) Sermon at Wat Buddhadhamma in Chicago. On the same occasion, the Consul-General took the opportunity to introduce herself and meet with members of the Thai community to foster closer ties.
