On September 9, 2024, Director of the Thai Trade Center in Chicago, presided over the reappointment ceremony of Mr. Suchin Prapaisilp as an Honorary Trade Advisor (HTA) to the Ministry of Commerce for Missouri. The event was attended by Consul-General, Deputy Consul-General, and officials from the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Chicago Office.

On September 8, 2024, Consul-General and Consul attended a meeting hosted by the Thai American Association of Illinois, along with various Thai associations from Chicago and the Midwest. The meeting focused on organizing a fundraising event to support the Thai Red Cross Society for those affected by the flooding in Thailand.

On September 6, 2024, a delegation of Thai policewomen from the Royal Thai Police, paid a courtesy call on Consul-General. The visit was part of their participation in the 61st International Association of Women Police Training Conference (IAWP) in Chicago.

On August 22nd, 2024, Consul-General Katanawadee Kalayanamit and the officials of the Royal Consulate-General presented a grant check to Mrs. Wanida Mekaroonkamol, the President of the Thai Nurses Association of Illinois, to support various activities of the Association.

On August 22nd, 2024, Consul-General Katanawadee Kalayanamit presides over the Royal Decoration Presentation Ceremony of the Commander (Third Class) of the Most Admirable Order of the Direkgunabhorn, which was conferred upon Mrs. Suchitra Surapiboonchai, Chairman of the Board Directors of Wat Buddha Dhamma.
