Acting Consul-General Varapol Chensavasdijai led officers and staff of the Royal Thai Consulate General in Chicago in a ceremony honoring the 100th birthday anniversary of the late Princess Bejaratana Rajasuda.

On November 7th, 2025, the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Chicago hosted a fifteenth-day Buddhist Chanting memorial ceremony with the Thai communities in Chicago and nearby areas to dedicate merit to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother at Wat Buddha-Dhamma, Willowbrook, IL. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Varapol Chensavasdijai, Acting Consul-General and attended by officials together with members of Thai communities.
