On February 3, 2025, Deputy Consul-General and Acting Consul-General Natnapang Damrongsoontornchai, Mrs. Suprattana Gamolvej, Director of the Thai Trade Center in Chicago, and Ms. Anoma Vongyai, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Chicago Office, jointly welcomed Ms. Sunanta Kangvalkulkij, Director-General of the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) from the Ministry of Commerce, and her delegation during their visit to Chicago. The visit focused on expanding economic cooperation between Thailand and the U.S., exploring opportunities to enhance the Thai product market, and promoting Thai community initiatives in the Midwest.

On February 2, 2025, Deputy Consul-General, Acting Consul-General, Natnapang Damrongsoontornchai, Consul Urasee Thiratangsathira Jeong, and Mrs. Suprattana Gamolvej, the Director of Thai Trade Center, Chicago, along with the staff, visited the Chicago Travel and Adventure Show 2025, held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.

On January 27th, 2025, the Royal Thai Consulate-General, the Directors of Team Thailand Chicago, and the Thai-American Association of Illinois held a joint committee meeting to plan the Thai Festival Chicago 2025. The festival will be scheduled for two days, from June 14-15th, 2025

On January 23, 2025, Consul-General Katanawadee Kalayanamit, Deputy Consul-General Natnapang Damrongsoontornchai, Consul Urasee Thiratangsathira Jeong, and Ms. Anoma Vongyai, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) in Chicago, participated in the annual summit of the Thai Illinois Friendship Alliance (TIFA)

On January 23, 2025, Royal Thai Consulate - Chicago, along with the directors of Team Thailand Chicago, to discuss the upcoming 'Songkran Festival 2025,' scheduled to take place at the Minnesota State Capitol on May 10-11, 2025.
