On March 7, 2025, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chicago hosted a lecture session on "Modern Medicine and Trends in Health Care" to provide information to Thai students and the Thai community in the Midwest. The session featured two key presentations: "The State of Eye Health in the United States: Addressing Common Issues and Future Directions" by Dr. Theinchai Pasurakul and "Good Health Starts with You: Tips for Health Care and NCD Prevention" by Dr. Rabhas Boonyawairote. Both doctors are currently studying and conducting research at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC).

On March 20, 2025, Consul-General Katanawadee Kalayanamit, Deputy Consul-General Natnapang Damrongsoontornchai, and Consul Urasee Thiratangsathira Jeong, along with Mrs. Suprattana Gamolvej, Director of the Thai Trade Center in Chicago, Ms. Anoma Vongyai, Director, and Mrs.Sirima Yuviengjaya Deputy Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Chicago Office, held the second joint committee meeting with Ms. Atiorn Kittikote, President of the Thai American Association of Illinois and committee members to plan the Thai Festival Chicago 2025

On March 20, 2025, Mr. Sakdidach Nobpatsorn, a Thai student from Ball State University in Indiana, paid a courtesy visit to Consul-General Katanawadee Kalayanamit, Deputy Consul-General Natnapang Damrongsoontornchai, and Consul Urasee Thiratangsathira Jeong. During the visit, he briefed them on the success of the event titled "Wasant of Harmony: Bridging Thai Culture to the World," held on March 14, 2025, at Ball State University.

On March 17, 2025, Consul-General Katanawadee Kalayanamit warmly welcomed Mr. Lucian-Ilie Stănică, Consul-General of Romania in Chicago, to discuss opportunities for enhancing cultural cooperation, promoting tourism between Thailand and Romania, and strengthening people-to-people ties between the Thai and Romanian communities In Chicago.

On 14 March 2025, Consul-General Katanawadee Kalayanamit presided over the ceremony to receive the Buddha statue "Phra Phuttha Sirindhorn Theprattan Mongkhon Phuwadon Santi," which was graciously bestowed by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The ceremony was attended by the officials and staff of Team Thailand in Chicago.

On March 7, 2025, Consul-General Katanawadee Kalayanamit, along with officers from the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chicago, presented a check to Prof. Chamni Sripraram, the director of the Thai Music Ensemble at the School of Music, Northern Illinois University (NIU), to support the university's Thai music education initiatives.
