On September 23, 2024, Consul-General Katanawadee Kalayanamit, Deputy Consul-General Natnapang Damrongsoontornchai accompanied Asst. Prof. Dr. Rawin Raviwongse, President of National Science Museum (NSM), Thailand, Dr. Chanintorn Wannawijit, Vice President of NSM, and Mr. Thitidej Tularak, Minister-Counsellor (Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation), Royal Thai Embassy, Washington D.C., together with a delegation to visit the Field Museum in Chicago.

 

The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Julian Siggers, President and CEO, and Mr. Jaap Hoogstraten, Head of Exhibitions at the Field Museum. During the meeting, they discussed the museum’s exhibition curation, data storage technology, public relations strategies, and collaborations with external organizations. The parties also exchanged insights on the activities of the National Science Museum of Thailand and explored opportunities for expanding partnerships between the two institutions
