On September 23rd, 2024, Consul Urasee Thiratangsathira JEONG and staff joined the Chicago’s 46th Anniversary of Peace Day at Daley Plaza. The event celebrates the UN’s International Day of Peace with the theme “Cultivating a Culture of Peace”. Consulates and hundreds of Chicago students also participated in the event. Highlights included the World Peace Flag Ceremony, Call to Peace initiative, cultural dances, and remarks from local leaders.
