On July 15th, 2024, Ambassador Suriya Chindawongse, Consul-General Katanawadee Kalayanamit, and official from the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chicago met with Ms. Satya Rhodes-Conway, Mayor of Madison, Ms. Tanya Zastrow, Executive Director of Olbrich Botanical Gardens, and representatives of engineers and architects from Spain to discuss the renovation project of the Thai pavilion in Madison, Wisconsin.

 

On this occasion, the Ambassador, Consul-General, and delegation visited the renovation site to observe the progress of the renovation, including interior decorations, roof structure and laying roof tiles using water and weather-resistant materials. They also wrote their best wishes and signed on a tile during the visit. The renovation project of the Thai pavilion has been scheduled to complete by August 2025.
