On October 7th, 2025, the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Chicago, hosted a remembrance ceremony in honor of H.M. the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej on the occasion of "Navamindra Maharaj Day" or "King Rama IX the Great Memorial Day" on October 13th, 2025. Acting Consul-General Varapol Chensavasdijai was the host of the ceremony, joined by the officers, spouses, and staff members of Team Thailand in Chicago.
