Royal Thai Consulate-General, Chicago Holds Merit-Making Ceremony in Honor of H.M. Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother

On October 26th, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., the monks of Wat Dhammaram in Chicago, in collaboration with the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Chicago, held a merit-making and chanting ceremony in dedication to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother at the temple’s main hall.

The ceremony was co-chaired by Phra Maha Samrueng Aphassaro, Abbot of Wat Dhammaram, and Acting Consul-General Varapol Chensavasdijai, with officers, spouses, and staff members of the Consulate-General in attendance.

Representatives from Team Thailand agencies also joined, including Mrs. Supradana Kamonvej, Director of the Thai Trade Center Chicago; Ms. Anoma Wongyai, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand Chicago Office; and Mrs. Sirima Uwiangchai, Deputy Director, together with members of the Thai community who participated to express their deep gratitude for Her Majesty’s boundless grace and benevolence.
