On November 10, 2024, Mrs. Katanawadee Kalayanamit, Consul General, and the staff of the Royal Thai Consulate General in Chicago participated in the Kathin Ceremony at Phra Srithammarattanamahathat Temple, Chicago. The Consul General took part in the almsgiving with the Kathin organizers and the Thai community, joined in chanting prayers, and had the opportunity to meet and converse with the Thai community and Friends of Thailand who attended the event.
