On March 20, 2025, Mr. Sakdidach Nobpatsorn, a Thai student from Ball State University in Indiana, paid a courtesy visit to Consul-General Katanawadee Kalayanamit, Deputy Consul-General Natnapang Damrongsoontornchai, and Consul Urasee Thiratangsathira Jeong. During the visit, he briefed them on the success of the event titled "Wasant of Harmony: Bridging Thai Culture to the World," held on March 14, 2025, at Ball State University. The event showcased various elements of Thai soft power, including music performances between Thai and Western, Thai cuisine, and traditional Thai games. It was attended by students and faculty members of the university.
On the same occasion, Mr. Nobpatsorn presented a 3D-printed sculpture to the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chicago. Inspired by Thai architecture, the piece was created by Mr. Nobpatsorn and his friends as a gesture of gratitude for the Consulate-General's sponsorship of the "Wasant of Harmony" event as part of the "Enhancing Thai Student Activities in the Midwest 2025" project.
