On August 22nd, 2024, Consul-General Katanawadee Kalayanamit and the officials of the Royal Consulate-General presented a grant check to Mrs. Wanida Mekaroonkamol, the President of the Thai Nurses Association of Illinois, to support various activities of the Association.

 

Over the past 48 years, the Thai Nurses Association has played a significant role in fostering relationships between Thai nurses in the United States and Thailand, providing support for nursing education, awarding scholarships, and participating in the Annual Health Fair activity. Additionally, the Association has contributed to strengthening relationships between the Association and other associations in Illinois and the Midwest region.
