On March 11, 2026, Consul-General Bacharee Puengpak paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Reyna Torres Mendivil, Consul General of Mexico at the Consulate-General of Mexico. As Dean of the Chicago Consular Corps, Ambassador Torres Mendivil gave an overview of the activities of the Chicago Consular Corps (CCC) including its annual meeting and website services. Both sides also welcomed the fact that Thailand and Mexico recently celebrated 50 years of diplomatic relations and looked forward to increasing fruitful collaborations between their respective Consulates-General in Chicago. Deputy Consul-General Varapol Chensavasdijai also attended the meeting.
