On November 4, 2024, Consul General Katanawadee Kalayanamit, Deputy Consul General Natnapang Damrongsoontornchai together with officials and staff members held a ceremony to present the "Volunteer Consul" award for Mrs. Lawan Chandruang who was appointed as one of the Volunteer Consuls for the year 2024 by Department of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. Mrs. Lawan Chandruang is a volunteer for the Thai community in the State of Michigan and has been actively and continuously helping Thai people and supporting the consular works of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chicago for over the past 30 years. The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chicago would like to take this opportunity to congratulate and recognize Mrs. Lawan Chandruang for her hard works, dedication and constant support.
