On 21 April 2026, Ms. Bacharee Puengpak, Consul-General of Thailand in Chicago, welcomed Ms. Saranyanat Bohn, President of the Nuad Thai and Spa Association of America-NTSAA, and her delegation at the Royal Thai Consulate-General. The visit was held in conjunction with a training program on Thai massage for massage therapists, scheduled to take place from 21-23 April 2026, at the Voco Chicago Downtown Hotel in Chicago.

On this occasion, Ms. Saranyanat provided an overview of the mission and activities of the Nuad Thai and Spa Association of America, a non-profit organization established in 2016. The association aims to develop professional standards, strengthen professional networks, and enhance the positive image of Thai massage and spa services in the U.S. The meeting also included discussions on ways to expand cooperation and promote the Thai massage profession in the Chicago and Midwest areas.
