On August 2nd, 2024, Consul-General Katanawadee Kalayanamit and Deputy Consul-General Natnapang Damrongsoontornchai, together with Mrs. Suprattana Gamolvej, Director of Thai Trade, Chicago, and staff members met with Mr. Ryan Frieder, the owner of LaTerra Partners soybean farm in Waterman, Illinois. The visit aimed to visit the soybean farm and study technology regarding soybean production and harvesting.

 

Following this, the delegation met with Ms. Caitlyn Abbey, International Marketing Officer at the Illinois Soybean Association (ISA), to gather information on the export of Illinois soybeans in order to seek further possibilities to expand economic and academic cooperation.
