On July 16th, 2024, Ambassador Suriya Chindawongse, Consul-General Katanawadee Kalayanamit, and Deputy Consul-General Natnapang Damrongsoontornchai, along with Director Suprattana Gamolvej, Thai Trade Center, Chicago, and staff members visited Truong Enterprises, a prominent importer, distributor, and wholesaler of food products in the Midwest. The company specializes in fruits, vegetables, frozen foods, frozen seafood, and ingredients catering to diverse consumers, including Asian, American, and Hispanic.

 

During the visit, Ms. Jasmine Truong, Director of Strategy, provided a brief overview of the company. Ambassador Suriya expressed his gratitude to Truong Enterprises for importing Thai products. He also acknowledged the company's ongoing support for the Thai Festival Chicago and other community initiatives. Ambassador Suriya was pleased to note the popularity of various Thai products in the U.S., including Halal-certified items such as Jasmine Thai Hom Mali Rice, Durian, Coconut Water, Fruit Juice with Coconut Jelly, Thai sweet chili sauce, Cooking sauces, Pad Thai noodles, Instant noodles, Coconut Milk, and Thai chili paste.
