On July 27th, 2025, Consul-General Katanawadee Kalayanamit, along with officers of the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Chicago, Thai Trade Center, Chicago, and Tourism Authority of Thailand, Chicago, attended the ceremony at Wat Buddha-Dhamma, Willowbrook, IL to commemorate the auspicious occasion of His Majesty King Vajiralongkorn’s Birthday, 28 July 2025.

At the ceremony, the Consul-General delivered a gracious speech of blessings and all officials participated in the merit-making, alms-giving and food-offering to monks together with the Thai community.
