On May 16, 2024, the Thai Cultural Council Of Minnesota hosted the Amazing Thailand Songkran Reception at Landmark Center, St. Paul, Minnesota.

During the opening ceremony, Mr.Dee Noree, the President of Wat Promwachirayan, delivered opening remarks, followed by Deputy Consul-General Natnapang Damrongsoontornchai, Mr. Eric Pratt, a member of the Minnesota State Senate, Dr. Macarre Traynham, the Assistant Commissioner Office of Equity of Engagement Department of Education, Ms.Parichart Boonklay, the Director of PR Tourism Authority of Thailand Bangkok and a subcommittee of Soft Power, and Mr.Chumpol Jangprai, a Chairman of the Food Industry Steering Committee under the National Soft Power Committee.

Afterward, the reception featured performances by Ms. Anntonia Porsild, Miss Universe Thailand 2023; Ms. Panida Kernjinda, Miss Thailand 2024; and Ms. Atitiya Benjapak, 2nd Runner-Up Miss Thailand 2024. Highlights also included diverse Thai music and dance performances by Moradok Mai Theater, artists, and volunteer teachers from many states across the U.S.

Moreover, guests had the opportunity to enjoy various dishes and other Thai cuisine curated by Chef Chumpol Jangprai from Thailand.
