On June 24, 2025, Mrs. Natnapang Damrongsoontornchai, Deputy Consul-General, presented a check from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand to Ms. Tanya Zastrow, Executive Director of Olbrich Botanical Gardens in support of the landscape development of the Thai Pavilion and the organization of the SalaThai Festival 2025, at Olbrich Botanical Gardens in Madison, Wisconsin.
The SalaThai Festival 2025 is scheduled to take place on September 14, 2025 to celebrate the completion of the Thai Pavilion’s renovation. During the meeting, the organizing committee, led by Mr. Nitirut Chumsangsri, President of the Thai Cultural and Fine Arts Institute (TCFAI), along with Ms. Atiorn Kittikote, President of the Thai-American Association of Illinois, and Mr. Suparit Suwanik, representative of the Thai Student Association at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, met with Ms. Tanya Zastrow and members of the Olbrich's Executive Committee to discuss cultural activities planned for the upcoming festival and to review the location for preparations. The discussion also explored opportunities for further strengthening cooperation between Thailand and the State of Wisconsin.
