On April 12th, 2024, Deputy Consul-General Natnapang Damrongsoontornchai, Director of the Thai Trade Center in Chicago Suprattana Gamolvej, and staff members, attended the Specialty Coffee Expo Chicago 2024 to visit the "Q Project Thailand," a comprehensive Thai specialty coffee industry development project, at McCormick Place Chicago Lakeside Center in Illinois.

The event featured a showcase of the Q Project Thailand, as well as coffee beans and coffee making equipments from Thai entrepreneurs. Additionally, a cupping session was held to sample specialty Thai coffees produced by farmers and processors who have certified training with the Q Project Thailand.

The "Q Project Thailand" is a comprehensive Thai specialty coffee industry development project initiated by the Coffee Quality Institute (CQI) in collaboration with Bolliger & Company (Thailand) to enhance coffee quality and coffee producers’ living while promoting the Thai specialty coffee industry to the global market. The project is also committed to environmental sustainability.
