On 14 April 2024 Consul Urasee Thiratangsathira Jeong and Vice Consul Noppharut Baonongbau, together with their spouses, along with Mrs. Suprattana Gamolvej, the Director of Thai Trade Center, Chicago, attended the Songkran (Thai New Year) Festival at Wat Buddha-Dhamma, Willowbrook, Illinois. During the festival, Consul and Vice Consul participated in the buddhist merit-making and Songkran Water Pouring ceremonies with Thai community. The Thai Cultural and Fine Arts Institute (TCFAI) also showcased spectacular Thai cultural performances during the festival.
