On May 10, 2025, Mrs. Katanawadee Kalayanamit, Consul-General of Thailand in Chicago, and Mrs. Natnapang Damrongsoontornchai, Deputy Consul-General, participated in the 33rd Annual Skokie Festival of Cultures, held at Oakton Park in Skokie, Illinois.
 
The festival celebrates the rich cultural diversity of the Skokie community, featuring more than 28 cultural groups. Thai culture was showcased through Thai booth and traditional dance performances presented by representatives from the Thai Cultural and Fine Arts Institute of Chicago (TCFAI) and the Thai Sunday School at Wat Dhammaram in Chicago including volunteers
from the Thai community in Chicago.
 
The Royal Thai Consulate-General, Chicago extends its great appreciation to the Thai community members who helped organize the Thailand booth and those who participated in the performances at this event.
