On May 6, 2025, the Royal Thai Consulate-General, the Thai Trade Center in Chicago, and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Chicago Office, in collaboration with the Thai-American Association of Illinois, held a planning meeting for the upcoming Thai Festival Chicago 2025 at the Consulate-General building.
During the meeting, Consul-General Katanawadee Kalayanamit presented a check to Ms. Atiorn Kittikote, President of the Thai-American Association of Illinois, as a gesture of the Consulate's support for promoting Thailand's soft power at the festival. Highlights will include Thai music and dance performances, a fashion show, and Muay Thai demonstrations, representing Thailand's cultural diversity and contemporary art. This year, the Thai Festival Chicago 2025 will take place from June 14 to June 15, 2025, at 851 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago, Illinois 60613, USA.
