On January 21, 2025, Mrs. Katanawadee Kalayanamit, Consul General, and Mrs. Natnapang Damrongsoontornchai, Deputy Consul General, along with the Directors of Team Thailand Chicago offices, met and discussed with Ms. Ruby Dejongh, Account Executive, and Ms. Wanwasu Siripaph, Sales Manager of Eastland Food Corporation, Illinois branch. The company is a leading importer and distributor of Thai food products, such as Hom Mali rice, frozen foods, coconut water, vegetable oil, coconut milk, canned fruits, and curry pastes in the Midwest region. During the meeting, the Team Thailand officers exchanged ideas to explore new ways to promote Thai food, making it more recognizable, accessible, and aligned with the needs and lifestyles of modern consumers, including Asian, American, and other ethnic groups. On this occasion, Eastland Food Corporation introduced new products and provided samples for the Team Thailand Chicago to help with further promotion.
