On May 23rd, 2022 Consul General, Mr. Pisanu Sobhon along with officers visited the "Think Rice, Think Thailand" booth of Thai Trade, Chicago which was exhibited in the National Restaurant Association Show 2022 (NRA Show 2022) at McCormick Place, Chicago between 21-24 of May 2022.

 

The Consul General was welcomed at the exhibit by the Director of Thai Trade, Chicago, Mrs. Suprattana Gamolvej. The exhibit featured rice and rice-based products from 11 different Thai companies (8 rice companies and 3 are of rice-based food companies). There were also cooking demonstrations and food tasting sessions by Chef Arun Sampanthavivat, Executive Chef and Owner of Arun's Thai Restaurant.

The NRA Show 2022, the biggest annual restaurant industry trade show in the western hemisphere, features international food products and equipments from approximately 1,800 exhibitors. It averages around 60,000 attendees.
