On October 27, 2024, Consul General Katanawadee Kalayanamit, together with Team Thailand Chicago - - Mrs. Suprattana Gamolvej, Director of the Thai Trade Center in Chicago, Ms. Anoma Vongyai, Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Chicago Office, Mrs. Sirima Tuviengjaya, Deputy Director of TAT, Chicago Office and staff, participated in the Kathina ceremony at Wat Pa Chicago. Dr. Suporn Ponglorpisit, together with her group, has graciously accepted the role of the main sponsors for the Kathina ceremony. During this ceremony, Consul General and her team joined the Thai community in making merit by offering alms and donating robes to the monks.
