On March 3, 2025, Mrs. Archawee Dhamavasi, President of the Academy of Thai Classical Music at Wat Dhammaram, along with volunteer teachers from Wat Nawamintararachutis in Boston and Wat Dhammaram in Chicago, paid a courtesy call on the Consul-General and Deputy Consul-General and provided a briefing on the "Isan Folk Music Workshop," for teacher and students of Wat Dhammaram, held from February 28 to March 2, 2025.
During the meeting, the Consul-General and Deputy Consul-General engaged with the volunteer teachers from Wat Nawamintararachutis and Wat Dhammaram to discuss opportunities to enhance Thai cultural cooperation, particularly in music and dance, as well as ways to expand engagement through various activities within the Thai communities in the Midwest.
