On September 22, 2025, Mr. Varapol Chensavasdijai, Deputy Consul-General of Thailand in Chicago, and his staff attended Chicago’s 47th Anniversary of Peace Day at Daley Plaza. The event celebrated the UN’s International Day of Peace and the promotion of harmony among all people. Attendees included representatives from various Consulates General in Chicago and hundreds of Chicago students. Highlights featured cultural performances, remarks on peace by local leaders, and the World Peace Flag Ceremony.
