On January 5th, 2024, Consul-General Katanawadee Kalayanamit and Deputy Consul-General Natnapang Damrongsoontornchai met Ms. Korawan Muangmode, the president of the Thai Cultural Council of Minnesota, and Mr. Dee Noree, the president of Wat Promwachirayan, to discuss the ongoing collaborative projects planned for 2024 between the Thai Cultural Council of Minnesota and the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Chicago.

 

On the same occasion, Mrs. Suprattana Gamolvej, Director of Thai Trade Center, Chicago, cordially invited Consul-General to present the Thai SELECT Certificate to the Amazing Thailand Uptown restaurant owned by Mr. Dee Noree.

 

Mr. Dee Noree, the president of Wat Promwachirayan, and Ms. Korawan Muangmode, the president of the Thai Cultural Council of Minnesota, are well-regarded Thai community leaders who are driving Thailand's soft power activities within the Midwest region.
