On September 18th, 2023, Consul-General Katanawadee Kalayanamit and staff joined the Chicago’s 45th Anniversary of Peace Day at Daley Plaza. The event celebrates the UN’s International Day of Peace with the theme “Actions for Peace: Our Ambition for the GlobalGoals”. Consulates and hundreds of Chicago students also participated in the event. Highlights included the World Peace Flag Ceremony, Call to Peace initiative, cultural dances, and remarks from local leaders.
