On October 9th, 2024, the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Chicago, hosted a remembrance ceremony in honor of H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej on the occasion of "Navamindra Maharaj Day" or "King Rama IX the Great Memorial Day" on October 13th, 2023. Consul-General Katanawadee Kalayanamit was the host of the ceremony, joined by the officers, spouses, and staff members of Team Thailand in Chicago.
