On October 23rd, 2022, Consul General Pisanu Sobhon, Deputy Consul-General Natnapang Damrongsoontornchai and spouse, along with consulate staff members attended the the Kathina Ceremony to offer robes to monks at Wat Pa Chicago. These robes were given by Somdej Phra Sangkarat, the Sureme Patriach of Thailand.

 

On the same occasion, the Consul General also gave a speech along with the head of the ceremony. Thereafter, the abbot of Wat Pa Chicago sprinkled holy water to finish the ceremony.
