On April 12, 2025, Mrs. Katanawadee Kalayanamit, Consul General, attended the 2025 Songkran Festival at Wat Dhammaram in Chicago. The event was organized by the Sunday Buddhist School in collaboration with the Thai Music Institute, the Thai Classical Dance School, volunteer teachers, and resident teachers. The aim was to preserve and promote the rich Thai arts and culture, allowing the younger Thai generation and international visitors to enjoy and experience the celebration.
